About Maria's Gift
As I pondered Christmas themes this year, I remembered wanting to paint the lovely poinsettias that bloom every year right out in my Hawaii garden! So I painted "Maria's Gift." The name refers to the endearing Christmas legend from Mexico about a young girl's miraculous present for the Christ-child.
